Twangy Folk: The Deslondes at the House of Blues (October 30, 2015)

The Deslondes of New Orleans play laid back twangy folk music. With a constant quick beat playing, everyone can’t help but dance along. John James Tourville is introduced as a triple threat. This talented musician plays pedal steel, fiddle, and electric guitar. All of the instruments he plays are an integral part of the music. The group also consists of Sam Doores (guitar), Riley Downing (guitar), Dan Cutler (stand-up bass), and Cameron Snyder (percussion) with all of them contributing on vocals. They also play a few quieter songs that are best in an intimate venue like the House of Blues. Catch them on tour now with Pokey LaFarge!
