Incredible! Lang Lang at Walt Disney Concert Hall, home of LAPHIL (February 1, 2017)

Lang Lang is an incredibly talented pianist. He performs so gracefully and smoothly. He plays with emotion that can be seen as he goes from gently pressing the keys to attacking the piano. It captivates the audience. They love him so much that he plays three encores!

His style has allowed him to gain popular success. At the 2014 Grammys, he played “One” with Metallica. Then, at the 2015 Grammys, he played “Happy” with Pharrell Williams.

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is an exceptional building. It was designed by Frank Gehry, who also designed the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Chicago. The hall manages to create an intimate experience for the audience despite it’s capacity of 2,265. This is achieved by placing the stage in the center and surrounding it with multiple levels of seating. When visiting, be sure to also check out the Blue Ribbon Garden on the North West side of the building.
